The Taylors paraffin heater is a really nice looking bit of kit, however the flue is a simple stainless steel pipe that exits the heater and travels up to the deck head looking very much like a nice hand hold, but is at approx 200 degrees C!
The request was to make a heat shield out of stainless steel to match the rest of the Taylors design.
This design is laser cut from 1mm polished stainless plate, with lazy bends to make forming it easier. There are internal support pieces that clip around the flue pipe and are riveted into place. The chamfered design matches the original Taylors heater.
