Below are a few examples of general stainless steel work we have undertaken.
We created a pulpit, pushpits, handrails, stanchions and a boarding ladder for a small racing yacht, all from 22mm x 1.6mm wall thickness 316 stainless steel tubing. This was needed as the yacht needed to be a light as possible. More recent work has included handrails for an offshore yacht out of 3mm wall thickness stainless steel tube.
We can also make general stainless steel fabrications such as laser cut and press-formed tangs for mast rigging points, both flat and formed chainplates from almost any thickness of stainless steel, including chainplates with a sealing plate welded to them to allow an effective deck seal. (i.e. a horizontal plate is welded around the chainplate if the design has it entering the deck through a slot – the plate is required to make a wide surface to seal against, any other design will eventually leak).
We can also produce custom anchor rollers and self launch systems in both stainless and aluminum as required, these include chain rollers fro Delrin or Acetal to suit your chosen chain dimensions.
